Wintering In Tuscany

Welcome the slow months with a six-day retreat for rest, clarity and renewal

Out last retreat for 2026 and the first one at this location, a beautiful way to center yourself before life becomes busy again.

November 2026 · Tuscany, Italy
6 days / 5 nights · From £1,800 per person · Accommodation, meals and experiences included

Wintering in Tuscany is a small-group wellbeing retreat created for people who have been carrying too much, moving too quickly or feeling disconnected from themselves as the year comes to a close and the busier, colder winter months fast approach.

Across six restorative days in the Tuscan countryside, you will be invited to step away from everyday demands, settle your mind and reconnect with what matters most. This is not about escaping your life. It is about creating enough space to return to it feeling more grounded, energised and clear about the way forward.

Designed by ARISE Wellness Coaching, the programme follows four gentle stages. Each day will follow a considered theme, guiding you through a journey from slowing down and taking stock to identifying what you need for the season ahead.

Pause — Step out of everyday momentum and become present again.
Listen — Notice your needs, stress patterns and inner signals.
Rebalance — Explore what supports your wellbeing as a whole person.
Return — Create practical intentions and sustainable habits for the months ahead.

At its heart is a simple belief: that clarity does not come from pushing harder, but from creating enough stillness to hear yourself again.

The retreat brings together practical wellbeing sessions with time and practices for integration. Such as creativity workshops, gentle movement, nourishing food and time in nature.

Simon, founder of Arise Wellness Coaching, will guide daily practical and compassionate sessions exploring a central theme and translate your reflections into meaningful, sustainable change.

You will leave not only feeling rested, but with a clearer understanding of how to support your wellbeing when you return home.

  • Moving from autopilot to awareness

  • Understanding personal stress patterns and early warning signs

  • Rebalancing physical, emotional, relational and working life

  • Protecting your energy during demanding periods

  • Creating boundaries and habits that are realistic and sustainable

  • Finding moments of joy, playfulness and creativity in daily life

  • Returning home with greater confidence, clarity and direction

Each day alongside group sessions, participants are invited to engage with wellbeing practices to integrate what learned. These are drawn from:

  • Yoga and mindful movement

  • Breathwork

  • Sound-based relaxation

  • Guided walks and walking meditation

  • Journalling and reflective writing

  • Poetry and creative reflection

You will leave not only feeling rested, but with a clearer understanding of how to support your wellbeing when you return home.

The programme is intentionally spacious and unhurried. Nothing is compulsory. You are invited to participate in what feels supportive and to rest in between—whether that is reading, walking, sitting in silence, or simply being in the landscape.

What to Expect

Experience Tuscany

In addition to the retreat programme, there will be the opportunity to join two optional experiences that connect you more deeply with the region.

These are included within the retreat and offered as invitations rather than obligations. For example:

  • A local wine-tasting experience

  • A visit to a historic monastery

  • A traditional Tuscan cooking class

These experiences are intended to create moments of enjoyment, connection and discovery while offering a deeper sense of the place surrounding us.

Who this Retreat is for

Wintering in Tuscany is for anyone who has been carrying too much, moving too quickly or feeling disconnected from their own needs.

You may be approaching the end of a demanding year, navigating a period of change or simply recognising that you need time to reset. Every part of the programme is beginner friendly, optional and designed to meet you where you are.

This is a curated small-group experience, creating a supportive and non-judgemental space in which you can slow down, reflect and reconnect—with yourself, with others and with the natural world.
